Mavado live in concert with special guest chipmunk; from an early age mavado was introduced to music by his grandmother taking him to church to sing. By the age of 15, mavado was mentored by his childhood idol Bounty Killer who taught him the ins and outs of the music industry.

Mavado’s success came from his debut single (Real Mckoy) in 2004. In 2008 he was given the prestigious UK MOBO Award for best reggae act. He has come to the uk to make us move and grove; he will be performing all the old tunes that we love like (Weh Dem a Do), so ladies and gentlemen get ready to be swaggalious, get your dancehall shoes on.

Mavado has been featured with UK Grime artist chipmunk who is also featuring at the concert, with the single (Every Gyal). This collaboration has opened new avenues for the star. Brixton here he comes. UK come and twist and turn live at 02 Brixton Academy. December will be on fire. This promises to be the biggest dancehall event of the year.
