Ms Raine Inc., publicist for reggae dance-hall superstar Vybz Kartel, has just a released a statement saying that female reggae artist Lisa Hype has been ejected from the Portmore Empire, the group led by Kartel. The announcement comes little more than a month since explicit pictures of the Lisa Hype where circulated on the Internet. Hype had tried to quell the uproar caused by the photos by issuing this statement but it seems that the move was not enough to undo the damage caused to the group’s image.

Lisa Hype is no longer a part of the Portmore Empire. The members of the Empire have unanimously agreed to end our professional relationship, especially in light of certain ‘developments’ that have come to our attention regarding her overall conduct, conduct that is not consistent with the decorum expected of a member of the Portmore Empire. She is an incredible artiste and we wish for her all the best in her future endeavours, but Lisa Hype will not play a future role in the Empire as she no longer fits in with our organisational goals as we move forward in 2010.

Due to circumstances beyond my control the TPAIN show has been cancelled. This is due to workload and TPAIN and his managers have decided it is too much for him to do the show in Nottingham.

The Birmingham and Sheffield shows are still going ahead and if anyone wants a coach trip to be arranged email me ASAP. If not wait until later on in the year for another show that has been negotiated to compensate for the late pull out.

As reported earlier rumours have been circulating that, the US R&B singer, T-Pain is planning to make a live performance somewhere in the UK.

WIARD FM can confirm that T-Pain will be performing live in concert at Nottingham’s Isis Nightclub on Sunday, 8th March 2009. Tickets start from £10 with limited VIP tickets (including meet and greet) costing more. Keep your eyes peeled for full details to be posted in our events directory soon.

WIARD FM has recently received news that US R&B crooner, T-Pain, is scheduled to stage a concert here in the UK. Rumour has it that an established promotions company from the East Midlands is negotiating with several venues across the East Midlands in order to stage the event within the next month. Whether it be Nottingham, Leicester, Derby or anywhere else in The Midlands, where T-Pain makes an appearance, rest assured that you will find the news about it here first on WIARD FM.

After making a plea, and an offer of $100,000, for the safe return of her nephew Julian yesterday, Jennifer Hudson and her sister Julia (mother of the child) have been told by the FBI that a body found in the back of an SUV appears to be that of the missing seven year old. Julian has not been seen since the murder of his uncle and grandmother last Friday.
